Trilingual Program
In our increasingly global world, kids benefit from knowing more than one language. The best time to teach a child a second and third language is the same time he/she is learning their first one. Toddlers develop language skills rapidly.
The trilingual journey starts with our Spanish and Mandarin Immersion class. We focus on fluency. Our children are introduced to Spanish and Chinese using the Total Immersion Method from 18 months through 3yrs. English is included at 3yrs. Children will be taught how to read, write, and speak all three languages. Children will not only learn the languages but about the music, food, culture, and history.
Spanish Immersion Classes
Why Spanish?
Spanish is the second most spoken language in the United States. Spanish is the third most widely-spoken language in the world, after English and Mandarin. That is why we chose Spanish as one of the core languages of our immersion program.
Chinese Immersion Classes
Why Mandarin Chinese?
The real question is, why shouldn’t one learn Chinese? After all, China is our biggest trading partner, supplier of goods, financial competitor, and military challenge. There have never been more reasons for Americans to learn Mandarin Chinese! An early introduction to Chinese languages now can be a key to lifetime success and one of the best investments you could make for your child.
Americans who can speak Mandarin or Spanish are coveted by fortune 500 corporations and all branches of government and there are many college scholarships available to language students to further their capabilities.
That is why we here at ITA are so keen on language immersion, it can be the key that unlocks your child’s future!
